I have been very silent the past weeks, and I know there’s got to be questions about it. So I decided to write this post and talk a little about that, as I have been very active online in the past.

So what is happening?

  • Well, I’m still unemployed and that has started to have affect on me, especially economically now. And that’s not so good at all, but I work hard every day to find a way out of this situation and I can’t do anything more that that. However if anybody of you reading this has got a job-proposal or a tip of someone hiring people, let me know! I*m open to suggestions and would gladly relocate if the right offer turns up!
  • I’ve been working a lot of with my charity project C4C – Concerts For Change together with my friends Renee and Johan. And in less than a week we have our first event happening here in Stockholm at Hilton Eken Bar here in Stockholm. It’s very exciting and will be so good when we have this our first event done. Our plan is to do a Charity Event every three months, and we will also document ‘how-to’ and make it available for people to use, in a way like an open source code. I believe we can change not the way people are thinking about charities but also inspire others to start their own projects all around the World, to make it a better World for us all to live in.
  • I’m writing a book! Yes, finally I have started to do it, and it will be about Socialmedia and how it can change the way you think and work. No more details here yet, but the work is progressing well and I’m happy about the writing so far. (I write in English btw…)

Level of engagement

There’s no question about that the level of engagement is directly connected to how well our relationships works out, this applaice to all our relationships. And there’s no difference to our relationships online, and the people that don’t care, do not converse they will soon find out that they’re not getting any deeper relationships online either. This is the same if you’re a person or if you’re a Persona (ie a company or an organization) I have seen a lot of people/personas trying to NOT converse and it always gets the same result, they get unfollows. So keep up the good digital conversation and this way you will stay a part of the digital community.

  • I'm sorry that I don't have any tips about job opportunities. Keep up the good work though, I'm sure something will show up for you - and I'll of course keep my eyes open for you :-)

We're not really in shape right now, so that's why we only have answered maybe attendig on the C4C event. Both of us want to come, but health is holding us in a grip here., not so much energy right now - but that might change until then!

    *keeping my fingers crossed*
  • Hi Anders,
Hang in there, mate. I am sure something good will come around.
What about approaching some of the Swedish gymnasium here in Stockholm ahead of gymnasiet mässa. There's a lot of schools looking to recruit students and they don't know how to use the web / social media for marketing.
Maybe you could approach one of them to run a project? Sort of consult them on how to build a social media profile and then use it to engage with their potential customers?

Of course, a lot of teens are on instant messaging and Facebook. Schools aren't doing enough to exploit this so there could be a niche out there for a bit of project work.

Good luck with your writing project. I'm juggling clients this week. Business is good.
  • Thanks for the suggestion Jon. I will look into that, and there will come a solution soon. I have worked so hard to build my new future that it has too.
  • Thanks 'Lifecruiser'. I work hard for a change and I know it will turn around one day. And I hope both of you can come to the C4C event, get well soon!
