Suddenly it hits me, Social Bookmarking will be the trend for the future, or will it? Let’s look at some signs that I’m right in that statement:

Well the first sign is, when people search for information they start to use bookmarking services like Delicious and Diigo to find their information. Why? Well since its userdriven and they tag all information, you can do search on tag’s. The excellence in that is, the search gets more accurate and precise. I see in myself I have started to rely more and more on this way of searching, more than search engines like Google and other ways of searching on the net.

All over the World is the trend that we trust each other more and more than Engines and experts. Userdriven reviews are getting increasing attention all over and now big companies are starting to realize that too. I can see the best use for that is like Visitsweden is doing, they have a Community of Sweden where travelers that go to Sweden can upload travel stories, reviews, Photos, videos and podcasts. All this leads to an increasing interest for Sweden as a place to go for vacations.

In the end all comes down to tagging of all kinds of media on Internet, and that helps us get the best result while searching.
